Periodic Inspection Testing or Fixed Wire Testing as
it is commonly known is the testing of a premises and
certifying of that premises to ETCI standards as laid down
in the Health & Safety Act 2007 SI-299..

Periodic Inspection Testing or Fixed Wire Testing as it is commonly known is the testing of a premises and certifying of that premises to ETCI standards as laid down in the Health & Safety Act 2007 SI-299.
The HSA recommends the following intervals between Periodic Inspection and Testing
- Commercial Premises – 5 Years
- Offices/ Retail Units – 5 Years
- Residential Premises – 5 Years
- Industrial Units – 3 Years
- Construction Sites – 6 Months
Periodic Inspections should also be carried out before
- Renting or Leasing a Property
- Selling a Property
- Purchasing a previously occupied Property
In the event that your electrical installation is found not to be compliant, we can provide you with a quotation for any remedial works and make all necessary repairs. A certificate of compliance will then be issued to you.
